Kale, Blueberry and Almond Butter Smoothie

This nutty, berry green smoothie is as delicious as it is jam-packed with brain-healthy goodness. The best part is it only takes 5 minutes to prepare.
Servings: 1
- 1 cup blueberries preferably frozen
- 2 dates pitted
- 1 kale stem, rib removed preferably dinosaur
- 1 banana preferably frozen
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 cup coconut water
- handful of ice
- Replace the kale with spinach if you prefer to have a less 'green' tasting smoothie
- Top with toasted buckwheat for an added crunch and added health benefits
